This is the first project Peter and I took on as Cookie Crew; a live updated timetable app for the local bus company in our Swedish hometown. The app gives the user easy access to live departure times, a travel planning tool, maps and timetables. The design is meant to match the existing city brand guidelines and features a custom-made skyline.
The Swedish MacWorld magazine approached us and asked us to redesign their webpage. Together with Peter and the MacWorld team I have given the website and forum a facelift, updating it to a contemporary design standard. I was responsible for the design, the front-end development and most of the client contact.
This application, created for the Swedish Church, is the first to use Eventus; Cookie Crew's own travel and event platform for smartphones. It lets the user keep track of places and events while giving the client access to an easy-to-use content management system.
An application created for our local newspaper for a quick and easy access to the latest news direct in your pocket. It features a filtration functionality so thath you can set up the news feed to suit your taste.
Yet another travel application, this is our second and latest buss app. It gives the user full access to live departure times, a travel planning tool, maps and timetables. The design and color is chosen to give a connection to the environment around the city with the river running across the tab bar.
A more of a personal project, as we all know, mum is the best cook in the world! This application is a nicely stylized blog reader for Andreas mum’s blog, minmammasmat.com ("My Mum's Meals") to get access to all the favorite family recipes. She posts new recipes frequently, all complemented by dad's great photographs. A very tasteful iPad App.
Cookie Crew started as a small project on the side of our studies in the early spring of two thousand and nine, when we developed our first application together. It worked out really well and after that we managed to get our first client we decided to start to work together. Because we are a small company and still students we are by nature very open minded and easy to work with, and because we now have a couple of successful project behind us, we have know what we are doing. The designer of the duo, he is responsible for the look and feel to give the user the best possible experience. Right now Andreas is studying for a Bachelor of arts as a graphic designer in Preston, UK.
The brain of the company, responsible for the clever code underneath to make everything run sooth. Currently Peter is studying towards a master of science degree in industrial management and engineering in Stockholm.
